Sometimes I want to keep several knives from a batch. (As an aside, I now own two of my own knives. A Bushfinger from the last batch from the old shop and a Hiking Buddy (guardless ;)). Both are nat can and nat can.) This time I want to keep a few. First up and the only one that is not available is this KPH. This is almost the last of the blue and black. One more handle's worth is all I have left.

I have a pretty piece of Ironwood I cut up this week. I made three knives from it all with IW over black canvas with an orange pinstripe. There is an HB, a Bushcraft Karda and a Woodpecker. The Woodpecker is a rare model. I've only made a couple, and this will be the last. All of the Ironwood family are made from 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. $245 shipped with sheath for any of them.

Speaking of Kardas I have a 3 Finger Karda here with a sweet Scandi grind. 1/8" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel and black can over nat can with orange goodness in the handle. $155 shipped with sheath. I still think the horisically inspired designs are some of the best knives around. I really didn't change much from the Karda you get with a Khuk. Time tested, a good tool.

I made three Bushcrafters this week. The two convex ones are ground from 5/32" thick 3D spalted 01 steel. I have one wearing Osage over nat can with an orange stripe and one wearing OD can over nat can with orange stripe. Both handle configs are base price ($240 shipped with sheath). The Scandi Bushie is ground from 1/8" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. It is wearing black burlap micarta with nat can furniture and orange stripe. $270 shipped with sheath for it.

By the way, this Osage in this batch is special as well. Really beautiful wood.

Next up is a Guardless Ladyfinger with a beauty of a full height convex grind. The handle is Orange Burst G-10. (There is no such thing, what I am referring to is the orange under jade green g-10 combo that looks like it glows.) The 3D spalted steel is 5/32" thick. This is a slicer and is ground thin to accomplish this! $220 for the knife. I have one sheath by Heber that can be had with this or the other Ladyfinger for $40, or the standard one for $30. I am going to start carrying Heber Ellsworth leather sheaths for some of my models.

This KPH is a beauty. I wanted to keep it really badly! I'm crazy for nat over nat can. This one has black accents. The knife is convex ground from 5/32" thick 01 steel. Its a base price beauty for $240 shipped.

I made four Hunters this week, and I want the nat can over nat can one bad. I'm holding it back for now. Its got a pretty full height convex grind on 5/32" thick steel. Its a slicer too. (As is the Cherry one below. (Actual Cherry) :))

Two of these knives are for large handed folks. (**** Please don't buy one of the big handed ones unless you are properly sized for it. I make these knives special for these guys, and they are BIG handles. I won't be taking one back to size the handle down. Please don't make me refund then re-sell this to someone because you didn't believe the handle would be too big. These are beefy handles.) The first one has an antique natural canvas micarta handle with a black liner and orange stripe. I got this antique nat can micarta from Dennis Bradley's stock. Its OLD. It has a neato color that you don't see in today's micarta. $290 shipped with sheath for that one. The second beefy one is wearing Osage over black canvas with an orange stripe. $280 for the Osage one.

The belle of this batch is certainly this beautiful Cherry Hunter. This is a cutting tool. Its actually light and nimble for a big knife. The grind is convex on 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01. Its got some Cherry crotchwood I get from a duck call supplier. I've never seen a more fiery piece of crotch cherry. It is laid over a 1/8" thick piece of black canvas micarta too. The wood has been stabalized. $330 shipped with sheath for this beauty. (I really miss my photo studio right about now. I'm not good with shooting pics outside, and this knife is prettier than my pics show.)

I had a feeling it would go first. Thanks Blaid.

Well just a moment too late. It's been a while since I've jumped on one Andy, but that Hunter was it. It is Sweet!
Nice score Blaid.

Yes! You can always deduct $30 from a 'shipped with sheath' price to buy the knife without one!

Sent you a paypal for the woodpecker and the Bushcrafter wearing OD can over nat can with orange stripe.

What is the blade and OAL on that three finger karda? That might be a niiiiiiice neck knife... :)

If the 3-Finger Karda is available I'll take it Andy.

And if you have any of the Ironwood or Cherry left, and it happens to find itself on a Woodsman I'd be happy to take it off your hands... ;-)

The blade is 3" and the handle is 3.5" long. I've got you down for 'dibs' on it and Ray for 2nds. Its been a while since I've made one of these...

Thanks MajorD. You got it!

Andy: I'll take the nat over black and orange hunter.
Thanks.

Thanks a lot NT! Its a big handled knife!

I have a lot of this Ironwood. That Cherry is rare. I don't think I have more of that.

What is it going to take to pry the first hunter out of your hands....

I apologize, but I sold it last night. I'll make more! I'm really taken with the Hunter.

oh heck, if still available, I will take the nat. over nat. KPH please.

Looks like a skinning dream....

Kind of surprised some of these have lasted this long!
