When are the e-mails posted for the special offer knives?

every time I log on they are all sold! lol

shows how popular they are but some of you must have way too many:D

Im still at 0 so come on give a FNG a chance to buy one.
 
Well, time things as though you were in Reno, Nevada and take it from there...

Take it from me, she has been a bit random of late so just check often once it is past noon.
Otherwise, there is no way to tell. She also tosses out a Morning or Evening Special now and then just to keep us on our toes.

Then, look for Yangdu's thread starter, usually with the date and some of what is offered in the subject line and click and read as fast as possible....
 
Aunty Yangdu's timing for posting the DotDs is fairly random... probably better that way as it makes it more difficult for the older members to shark things right as they're posted.

Just check the site regularly - that's what everyone else does! Usually they're posted up around noon (PDT) on random days, though she's known to change it up and post some early in the morning or later at night. Don't get discouraged yet mate - you only introduced yourself a day or two ago! ;)
 
I think it's been more random lately because her Dad's visiting and having eye surgery done.

Usually, it's Mon-Fri around 12-2pm Mountain time. Sometimes there might be a late night, full moon special, or a holiday special, or none at all unfortunately. It's been a treat to have DotDs this weekend.
 
Patience, chef. I too was in that boat... seein' sharks snatch up lovely blades left right and center... eventually I was able to score several of my own through the DotD's... mind you, some of those I had to send Yangdu an email from work. :D
 
if you want something, write Auntie Yangdu and say:

"Dear Auntie,

I really want to have a blah blah blah khukri. I need it. I need it NOW :)

Please let me know the soonest you have one, and I'll buy it."

so, if you have a dream khukri, just let her know, and well, every 3-4 days, let her know more ;) you'll get it!!! it's that easy.

pre-sharking - when you know you have HIV so bad you not only can' wait, you actually INVENT what you want, and make it happen :) accept no substitutes.

of course, back in the day, i had "auto refresh 15 seconds" turned on, and would watch the HI forum like a hawk, and would outshark the sharkies. mostly :) now? i just write when i feel a need.

Actually chef...you just have to figure out what it is you would like and email auntie ONCE to see if she has or can get anything that fits the bill. If you pester her every 3 or 4 days as was recommended above you are liable to just upset her.
