Each month I will be doing a "Knife Of The Month" special priced model. For March, it will be the Backup

Backup (Wharncliff) 5 3/4" oal, 2 1/2" blade (bearthedog photo) Normally $100.00

Backup (Clip point) 5 3/4" oal, 2 1/2" blade (bearthedog photo) Normally $100.00

The special price will be $80.00 in oak, with kydex sheath.

Options: any of the exotic woods I show on my website: add $6.00
Black, red, green, or maroon micarta: add $7.00
Handle liners - black, red, yellow, white, or blue: add $5.00

There will be no free Tin Knife with these specials.

Delivery will be starting in mid March. Each month I will be offering a different model, if this goes well. Offer ends February 28th

Great idea. Hope it works well for you, because I would love to snag one of your larger blades in the future when you run a special on them.

I agree. Try a hiker model one of these months. I love the pics that Pitdog has posted. Looks like a great knife.
 
I guess this "special" is not what anyone is looking for. I`ll still try something else next month. :D
 
John, If I hadn't already made up my mind on the EWOK I would have bought this one. I have a feeling that alot of the peolpe that frequent here already have a backup (or one of your similar smaller knives), as you've mentioned it was your best seller for a while. It wasn't a bad idea by any means.

Hopefully you're still running "specials" in a few months when I've saved up some more money and can pick up another knife.
 
With your Bushcrafter passaround going on you might consider this model for next month. The more it gets passed around, the more info folks would have to decide if it's right for them. Folks could customize it according to your options above too. Just a thought.
 
I would wait probably another month or maybe two before the bushcrafter special. I was pretty high on the list and I haven't received the knife yet, so I would say most people haven't handled it yet.
