I've been busy developing different patterns of special pivots, screws, and wrenches for my folders over the last couple of weeks. I thought I'd share the results with you......

Here is a sample of the 440C pivot pins with the "Alien" heads I developed a few weeks ago:

Here are the matching titanium screws and titanium wrenches (with 416 SST case hardened drive pins):

And, here are some special "Nuke" pivot screws and wrenches, also made from 6AL-4V titanium:

These required a lot of calculating, head scratching, and cranking on my little rotary table.

I hope you like them! :)

Very impressive to me and I have a fair idea about how VERY much setup time must have been involved.

Great looking stuff Tom!!! I really like the round bladed version: Clean overall design elements. Very nice work.

I see, more toys more fun. Tom you amaze me at times. Ive been playing with a divider head on the mill. Makes cool slots and holes in my dagger pommel.

Hey Tom, your spending way too much time with your lathe and mill. I have to go out to my shop and throw out all of my folder stuff now.

I have to admit, you really need to be determined to make stuff like this on manual machinery.

If you start worrying about all the tooling, materials, and time it will take, you'll never get started! ;)
