Special question regarding CS Voyager xl plain edge

Hi guys
Have a short question as I like to purchase this knife as soon as it's available here in Germany.
If you use it with an extended grip for longer reach, and if in special situations it would be necessary to reach the vitals of a wild animal, is it possible to pierce the whole distance from tip to the fingers, I mean the front of the handle included, as if you had a longer blade? Or will it stop at the end of the blade as the handle is too thick? I suppose if one will stab hard enough it should work, because of the wide blade, but I'm not sure.
An answer would be very nice.
Thanks in advance
Holger

This is one weird question. I would guess if you're strong enough you could push the knife, knife handle and your arm through the beast and just grab it's vital organs with your hand and pull them out. What kind of hunting do you guys do in Germany?
Seriously, I would thing you would hit a snag at the handle as it is wider than the blade. If you need a folder with more reach go for the Espada XL.

PS I think it will go in, but might snag with the handle's index finger recess when pulling it out.

Thank you, cccpull.
That's what I'm also thinking. Of course, I have a lot of large fixed knives and would use them for this kind of work. Regarding the Voyager, it's only, as I said, for special situations. For example if you have lost your hunting- or survival knife. It is not the case that we practise this kind hunting in Germany.

My 2x old style Voyager is for SD against people . If my pistol fails for some reason. I don't think Voyager good bush knife not even as a back up. I would want a different CS folder

But I thought especially this Voyager would be a good and strong outdoor blade, including SD and hunting tasks. Which CS folder would you prefer?

I have the large Voyager, clip point, plain edge. It's a folding bowie. Definitely good for hunting and SD. I also have a large tanto, the Gunsite II, not as good for hunting, but fine for self defense. The two make a nice set. The Voyagers are all durable and sharp.

Thanks for the infos. There is other good stuff around, but I think I would choose the Voyager, because of the super blade design. Unfortunately it's three times as expensive here as in US.

Cant go wrong with the xl voyager, large or xl espada. Maybe even the Spartan. (I have all of them and or amazing)
