special runs and factory seconds

i know kershaw does a sale every year and people can get there hands on overstock and factory seconds. Please tell me theres another way. I live in illinois and oregon is a bit of a hike. Is there any other way to get your hands on something from kershaw other than the yard sale?

There is no other way. The sale is on the same weekend every year. 3 days of mayhem and we're out. Maybe you can bribe one of the locals next year.

As best I can tell your only other option is to keep an eye on popular auction site right after the sale. I wish there was a sale on the east coast or in the midwest I could drive to but, alas i know of none.

If Kershaw would like to have a sale on the East Coast I would be willing to let them use my driveway for free. Heck I'd even let 'em use the bathroom in the house. No port-a-johns at my abode. Maybe someone could get back to me on that.

For just a little more you can get something thru someone like kershawguy,......who seems to live in the right place at the right time.


.........i'll consider him my "agent" from now on.

I picked up a factory second ZT 0100 from him that i think was perfect,......still don't know why they "seconded" it,......and save for the xxxx markings you'd never know.

You just missed it!!
Another 11 months or so and you'll be good to go. That gives you plenty of time to plan your purchase list.
