Here's a special sheepsfoot done for a retired US Navy Senior Chief, he wanted something for cutting limes (and other everyday tasks) for rum and cokes. I'd say it works well. The edge is ridiculously thin, hollow ground S90V. Handle is vintage black rag micarta from the US Navy in WWII (verified through a reputable source). Nickel Silver corby bolts and a brass CPO decorative pin. red liners to set it off. This is an old pattern that served as the basis for my Pronghorn handle pattern, he admired one I had on the ship years ago, so...decided to resurrect it.

if I wasn't currently cash poor and knife rich i'd have to! I'm no fixed blade expert aside from owning too many but I must say the palm swell design in your handle seems really intuitive and smart. Well done, sir.

Beautiful piece man! I love the design, it looks to be so very comfortable and sturdy in the hand, I love the handle contour! That shot from the top looking down on to the curves of the handle.. perfection. And the black/red/black liner... Stunning!! Very nice work man! I'm sure that your friend will be very happy!
