It's not just for brush clearing and firewood any more.
Back in 2003, Uncle Bill gave me a screaming deal on a 20" Village AK. I sent it to Dan for the full handle finishing and sharpening treatment, and then gave the AK to my dad as a present to be used in rebuilding our cabin (which burned down).
This AK was used for one of Dan's cutting videos here at one point (chopping wood and then slicing through a thick stack of paper), but I couldn't find the post.
In talking to my dad last night, he told me he spent last weekend cutting up felt/tar roofing paper with the AK and that it was still scary sharp at the end of the project. He always liked the AK before, but now he really, really likes it.
So thanks, Dan, and now we know yet another use for the 20" Village AK.
