Special tools to assemble a 2750?

Greetings,

Benchmade must a have a special tool to put tension on the coil spring in a 2740 auto...

The housing that holds the spring has a 3 sided "socket" milled into the top, very difficult to
re-tension the spring when putting it back together...!

Does Benchmade sell this tool? or is there a work around?

Doubt it, Benchmade won't even sell you a tiny Omega spring to replace a broken one let alone a proprietary tool.

Would be interesting to see a picture, maybe contact these guys and see how much it would cost to have a bit made that could work?
