Just got my Paramilitary two days ago, and it's just great... Locks up solid like a Gunting, and feels totally solid, even better than Military. The action is still a bit gritty, makes a szzzzzdt sound with the compression lock rubbing, but I had the same thing on the Gunting and it smoothed quickly. This is certainly a mini-Military, although to me it feels more like Delica on steroids or a Delica blade in a Gunting handle. Still, a very nice package. :D

Vess, very nice... I have a PE Paramilitary on the way from New Graham as of today!!
What is written in the well of the pocket clip?

Oh, that's the usual Patent # and Foreign Patent Pending notice, nothing new... :)

I noticed on NGK website the Para they show has what seems to be 061V or 081V on the blade? Hopefully someone can chime as to what it means? Production run possibly?

I just sealed a deal with another forum member for a NIB Para! He gave me a great deal. Funny thing is I have been looking for one everywhere and no one had them in stock! Yesterday I get some e-mails confirming stock on the Para. I guess most dealers finally received shipments. I love my Military but wished it was a tad bit smaller. The Para will fit the bill just fine.

Thanks for the pic's !

IIRC, they are collector numbers.

Mine came from NGK too, and yes, that's a collector's number on the blade. And yes, the blade is S30V and I am really really sure that all Paramillies are S30V-bladed. It really is a great knife. Once I get the action smoothed out enough, it'll seriously threaten all my other EDCs. Delica-size flat-ground blade on a longer more ergonomic and grippy G-10 handle, all held with a compression lock and dual nested steel liners. Does it get any better than this? :D

Vess,

I don't think it probably does get any better. I most certainly must get one too. :)

Thanks for the picture.

In areas where carrying a blade in excess of 3" is legal.

Yes, that's right....In CO is 3.5". Although, I believe Denver is 3", but I have another knife to cover times spent in Denver.

I should have said, it's "my" perfect EDC....

got one two weeks ago , it 's now my EDC.. too bad that the Scorpius doesnt have the g10 handles, it could be a serious competitor..
and this saturday i'll bring the Pamillie to my Scrima lesson, just to see the envious reactions of my jealous friends ;)
