Specific Date Soldiers

I'm looking for some Victorinox Soldiers, or even Wenger Standard Issues, with 1981 or 2001 date stamps on the main blades. I'm not sure where else to ask, but I know that both models have date stamps and both are way older than 1981. Thanks for any help.
 
Are you trying to match someone's birthday?

I'm going to guess finding that will be difficult. In the realm of the world's most serious SAK collector. I would check out www.sosakonline.com and monitor eBay auctions. Develop a sophisticated eBay search string. If the auction description includes the date stamp, you can find it. But it will be like a needle in a haystack.
 
Ask over at the SOSAK forums. You can watch eBay though as they do come up. I'm looking for an 02 in good condition.
 
Considering your daughter's birthday, I think a knife from the TSA airport siezures would be appropriate. If you find the right date, I hope you hold on to it for her for a while. She's kind of young not to lose it.
 
I looked at every Soldier the local knife shop had, and found nothing of use. Ebay turned up nothing useful. SOSAK has a few listed, but not the years I'm looking for. I'll wait and see; looks like I have no other choice.
