For about a year and a half I have been carrying a nylon Wenger Swissgear tri-fold. It's still serviceable but starting to be a bit worse for wear especially by the built in zippered change pocket where loos strands now threaten to get caught. I was thinking of going to T.H.E Wallet Jr but wonder how it will fit in a front jeans pocket. My current carry measures 3.25" by 4.75" vs the 4x4 SpecOps.

I was in the same boat a few years ago, was considering The Wallet Jr. Wound up with the All-ett due to a post on here. I'd recommend you check out the All-ett, the worlds thinnest wallet, the recycled ones are the most durable. The sail cloth and leather ones will last approx a year in my experience but the recycled one is MUCH more durable. It is amazing how much cash and credit cards you can fit into one and easily carry in your front pocket.

Thanks for the suggestion. Though I'm looking for a wallet with both a coin pouch and one external pocket. Also It's not so much the thickness that concerns me but the height and length of it.

I don't have THE Wallet JR, but I have been EDCing THE Wallet (full size ) for about a year. I've used the wallet in everything from dress pants to jeans. If it can fit in the back of slacks, you should have no issues in fitting it in the front of your jeans.

I've been carrying a Jr for about five years. It's a little dirty and doesn't look new at all anymore, but it's holding up just fine.

I will have to replace it when I get a new driver's license next year because the ink from my license leached onto the plastic window. But that's more of a fault with North Carolina's really poor quality licenses than the wallet.

I carry it in my front pocket just fine. It took some getting used since I'd carried a tri-fold for years, but I don't notice that it's there anymore.

Great wallet, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I don't know what you are used to, but I wouldn't want to carry mine in the front pocket. I used a fossil money clip/card holder for years with no problem in the front pocket, but I just don't think the Jr would ride well there. I think there are better options available...I just don't know what they would be. As others have said the all-ett seems to be good (no personal experience) and I like some of the fossil offerings but other than that I wont be much help on a different recommendation.
