Does anyone know what the specs are for this baby? OOPS....#72.

This one should be identical to the CGFBMs minus the polish spine and upswept clip.

I believe it has Magnum TigerHide handles and should be around .250 thick.

You sure those handles are mags?

If so I'l lbe seriously kicking myself for not even trying for one!

No I am not :D Upon first glance they look to be mags. Now that I look closely they look more like standard tigerhides.

Nothing would tickle my fancy moar than any sort of BM with mag tigerhide.

Seriously folks. Don't be shy!

I'm betting on them being magnum grips... That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

The front of the handles looks more Standard-Slab like, but the back 1/2 looks much deeper. Rear contour looks significant... Lighting playing tricks?

I was happy to have snagged 3 of these babies!! One for me, one for my brother (early graduation gift) and one for fondling.

That was a darned hard one to keep from throwing in on. The bare spine against black looks nice, not to mention the up swept clip.

Personally, I do not like the bare spine look. If the spine would have been coated, I would have been all over this one.

My only gripe is corrugated bevels - I can't see myself ever buying a blade with the corrugations. Well, maybe if the price was right...

I'd prolly have made an exception if those were mag scales, or at least would have been that much more tempting!

The bevels makes it look tougher and different looking. The bare spline gives it a more refine or polish look. :D Plus it will be a lot easier to shine it up later, one bevel first then eventually the whole blade. There were a lot of bad a$$ knives this ganzaa, and I was lucky to get a couple. This was one of my picks cupid hit me with, so my son will have a choice to make for his birthday present.

That's just one less surface to polish after I strip mine. :D

Those are definitely mags; you can tell by the texture and the depth of the contours. Look at any photo of an FBM LE and you can count the same number of layers of color. I believe Boss has stated that Tigerhide is always magnum; you couldn't see all the layers of colors if you did it with standards.

This baby combines the two things I always wanted in a FBM; 1/4" INFI with Tigerhide Mags. I only wish I could have ordered more than one.

I usually look at the depth of the counter-sunk holes on the handles to get an indication of handle thickness. Those countersunk holes don't look deep - but then again it could just be the perspective of the photo.

Edit: Countours do look more mag-like than standard in appearance.

Can't wait till they start shipping so we can all find out for sure!
