Specs for new Strider Framelock?

The new framelock folder pic that Mick posted looks pretty good.

Any chance of getting the specs and a ballpark price posted?

TIA

Will the new folder come in a Tanto blade? I love spear point, but tanto's are really my preference.

If anyone knows (and can talk about it), is the frame lock, the Strider/TAD tac. folder thats "coming soon" on the TAD web sight, or is that going to be another new folder?

Our new folder, Model # SnG.
Titanium/G10 integral folder. (Framelock).
OAL 8.25”
Blade length (OA 3.5”, cutting surface3”)
Blade thickness .165”

We will try to have a few to play with at the Blade show.

Mick

Post Script: We well be making a Tanto version a little later.

Thanks much for the info, but now I'm a bit confused.
Where exactly is the G10?

Also, any ideas on when these might be readily available?

You can’t see it in the photo.
The entire other side is made of G10. The off side handle and midline spacer are integral g10.

We are making parts now. But it will be at least a month before you really see them around.

Mick, Thanks. I will be waiting for the tanto version:D Though the one in the picture looks amazing

will the G-10 have the roughed-up texture of the GB/AR series? I really like the grippiness of it.
Also, from a design perspective why G-10? Does it have the necessary lateral structural rigidity?

There will be a version that has the Strider(grippy) G10. We plan to make it with several textures.
G10 is awesome. Wait until you see how strong this sucker is.

I am going to have to say that's pretty F 'in cool!

Are you going coat the Ti side black to match the G10?

How do you think the G10 compares with Al for this type of application?

What thickness of Ti did you use for the frame? .1 in. like on the AR?

Now all you have to do is make an OTF so we can get a strider folder that's CORD WRAPPED!

The Ti and G10 are .125inch.
I wanted to make sure the knife stayed "warm". I don't like the way an all metal knife feels in my hand.

Yes, I thought that framelock had thumbstuds as well as an oblong cut-out.
Why is that?

Any possibility of gluing a thumbdisk on it also? :D

From that pic it looks like the thumb studs act as the stop pin. Am I correct?

The MOD Ladyhawk does the same thing. I think all of the MODs do. It seems to work well.
