Specs ops for a BATAC

Would a BATAC fit in a medium spec ops sheath without a liner?

It should fit in a small Spec-Ops sheath (max knife size 5.5") with spec-Ops liner which accomodates thicknesses up to .25". :thumbup:

It fits great with the liner. You really don't want to put a sharp knife in a Spec-Ops sheath without the liner, it will cut out through the side.

This is a CG in a small Spec-Ops Combat Master. An LE BATAC is thicker and will probably need the kydex liner taking out and softening, but then it will fit fine. Say if you have an LE and that's what you need to do - we can help.

It will fit. My BATAC however fit really loose, WITH the liner, and I don't like that. So I took the liner out, and warmed it with a hair dryer and bent it a little more (that will make sense if/when you take out the liner... you'll see it bent in the middle). Now it fits really well.

I too reshaped the liners a bit. I also cut a small groove on one side to accomodate the talon hole.
