hey everyone
ever thought of using a hard eye carry case for storing your EDCs and must haves on your person when out and about. I use a hard eye glass case that i have. its compact and has quiet a bit of room iniside to store matches, firesteel, fishing supplies, and my fav EDC SAK. i also included a small ball point pen, tiny note pad, and photon II. BICs also fit in quiet well as i have 2 inside the case. the case i have shuts tight and is not easily opened by kids and sometimes even i have a hard time opening it hehe. but the great thing about it is that it fits well in my shirt pocket or side pockets.
I had an old Ink pen that i converted to very easily store some small loose items such as fishing sinkers, hooks, and 30' of 8lb test line alone with matches, tweezers, and a miniture first aid. included herein are: bandaids, anti bio ointment, sting releif, 2 slim line scalpen type razor blades, and large and small guaze pads along with ibuprofins and some asprins. i found a small vile type tube that has a snug fit in which i also included some Iodine(for first aid) and threw in some H2O purification tablets.
Yes i understand its hard to accept that all this would fit but believe me after tinkering with it like a fascinating rubiks cube it fit in snug with no room to spare and the outside suited me well to wrap lots of ducktape around it.
give it a try as it fits in perfect in your glove box and also is great just to have on your person when out and about.
thanks
