Spectraply

Good morning all.

I was wondering if anyone here has tried making scales out of spectraply? If so... how is it to shape/sand/finish. Would you recommend it?

Basically, it appears to be similar to laminated wood (thinner plies though) used for firearms stocks.

If I already had some, I might give it a try. But the look is much like multi color g-10. And I have no reservations about g-10 as a handle material.
