I just got a new SpecWar BT rom an Emerson dealer, blade marked 2013, and noticed that the screwholes on the lock side of the knife are countersunk pretty deep into the G10 while the holes in the opposite scale sit flush with the surface of the G10. Is this normal, or is something out of alignment?

Seems like maybe a mm difference. Hard to tell in pics but it's nothing to worry about if you're concerned. Is it centered? How's the lock up? If both of these are fine then the knife is working properly. If it bothers you then you can exchange it from the dealer or send it in to us to have a different scale put on.
