I have posted this question before, but I would like to know again. Who has the Specwar and CQC7? Can somebody tell me the pros and cons of each. Thanks.

The blade length on the Specwar is .2" longer than the CQC-7, and the spine of the Specwar has a straighter profile to it. The 7 has a thumb ramp integral to the the blade, and the Specwar does not. The handle of the Specwar has a much more shaped handle and more prominent finger guard than the 7. All the materials and dimensions, thickness wise, are the same.

IMO, the Specwar is a much 'sexier' knife and I love mine.

Both are great, but CQC7 is more comfortable in the pocket. For EDC I'd choose CQC7 (well, I did) as the guard section on SpecWar has too pointy edges and tend to destroy pockets from inside. Anyway, SpecWar is a bit nicer as a heavy-user or serious tactical/defence knife but for EDC CQC7 is better.

PiterM, thanks for the comfortable pocket part of choosing a knife; I didn't take that into consideration when choosing a knife. I was too preoccupied with its handling, durability, aesthetics, and sharpness.
