was just curious if anyone has heard anything about speed-tech having a new model in the works

If this is true then its gonna be great but I havent heard anything and I am also wondering this so BTTT

I asked Jim the other week via email that very question. The answer is no. He said that they are focusing on the Synergy for the time being, although I was at his site last night and saw a "slim" synergy advertised, in addition to the standard model. I'm hoping for an auto Synergy sometime in the not-so-distant future!

The Synergy Slim has been around as long as the Synergy, AFAIK. For awhile, it was unknown as to whether the Slim would be offered with a clip. Last I heard, it will not.

So there are two basic models, the Synergy and the Synergy Slim. The Synergy is available with or without clip (tip down). The Slim has no clip.

Again, AFAIK, five blades have been offered. The hand-ground (Elishewitz) Tanto "IPO", the production Tanto, the production Swept, the Damascus Swept, and the hand-ground (Elishewitz) Swept.

SpeedTech is one of the specific manufacturers in the Non Specific Manufacturer Forum.

Paul, my Elishewitz ground Sweptpoint has the slim handle. It is a very comfortable handle, reminiscent of a fencers saber grip.
