I was wondering how the safety switch on the T4 looks.I have the catalog but the picture doesn't show enough detailed of the spine only the pocket clip.

Also,I wanted to know is that whether this knife can be converted to be automatic with a simple coil spring.

Thanks alot Maarten or dutchie for the link to the pics. The pics are great and thanks again

But I still want to know if the safety acts like a switch. In it moves parallel to the knife's spine.I've also want to note that in the new Boker USA catalog(Spring/Summer 2007) that the blade is 440C while the old Fall/Winter 2006 catalog specifys X15 TN steel.Has the steel changed?

Hi razorburn

According to Beagleboy on messerforum.net the blade is 440c and not X-15-N.

They made a mistake on the usa site of boker when you look at the german site it is noted as 440C.

When you look at the second picture from the left you will see the switch on the backside of the handle.(Between the slabs ) rolling it forward and backwards closes opens the bolt which prevents the pushbuton from working.

cheers maarten
