Speedsafe

What is everyone's thoughts on the Speedsafe knives by Kershaw? I'm considering a Kershaw Blur but am wondering about this feature and possible accidental opening.

Have not had it happen yet. There is a safety on both my chive, and the leek's I have seen. Not sure about the Blur. I normally carry with the safety off and have not had a problem.

I own about 8 Kershaw Ken Onion designed folders and they each have the Speedsafe AO. I have yet to have one accidentally open on me and they all function as the day that I bought them. I have had a couple for over 6yrs.

Never had a problem with my Leek! Fine knife and opens swiftly every time. I hear the Blur is a fine piece.

Had an AO open on me once. It fell out of my pocket and the flipper hit the groud, poppig it open. It wasn't a Kershaw. It's the only time I dropped a knife and the only time an AO folder opened on me accidentally. I also own a Leek that never opened on me, though it hasn't seen much use.
