Spencer Frazer everyday carry ???

O.K. SOG fans, I would really like to know, if we took a poll of which knife we each think that Spencer Frazer, (AKA Mr. SOG) carries in real life, every day, which knife do you think he would carry on a daily basis, not one he is breaking in, but THE one he might carry every day.
Of course we all know it's going to be a SOG, and we can pretty much bet it would be a folder, so lets see who can figure this one out.

I can answer this question in detail. I can also answer what Gloria (his former wife, former business partner, and SOG co-founder) used.

But I don't think I count, though, in this unoffical "poll." :D
 
Ron, I forgot about you !!:D , I should have known you would be the first to reply,:p , Don't tell us, let us try to guess and then you can laugh at the choices we pick, I really don't know, but I did see one once, but I wasn't going to tell until after every one else picked one. :D , By the way, WHAT do you carry ?

Me...I've carried a lot of stuff. While employeed at SOG, I carried the JetEdge II, then the Vision, then the Night Vision (my most long term and beloved daily carry), and lastly the TiNi Aluminum Flash II. While not at SOG, I've been carrying an MT LUDT and an assortment of gent-sized knives...because of my workplace (namely carbon fiber Mini Gent, Blink, CRKT S-2, MT UDT, Aluminum Flash I, and others).

I'll leave the Spencer story for later. The results might suprise you.

I'm guessing it's a custom either his or someone elses.
 
O.K. I have to confess, I saw him carrying......:p I won't say yet, but I really think he might carry a VINO......:D, No really a Flash 1, maybe............... or a :confused: one of them little bity yellow ones with key clip.......:( , O.K. I don't know. Too many to choose from:rolleyes:

Here’s the truth: The funny thing is, I rarely saw Spencer EVER carrying a knife as a true EDC…except for a Carbon Fiber Mini Gentleman for a year or two on his key-chain. He would often carry around the office his latest “knife” design and definitely carry a knife at conventions, but I rarely saw him leave the building with an EDC (like the rest of us).

Gloria used an Air-SOG in her office for routine tasks.

As for me, I’ve never carried the Mini X-Ray Vision. For the most part, I personally don’t like the aesthetics of Zytel (my official list is above).
 
Did I win !!!:rolleyes: , O.K. I saw where you carry one of those ole udt knives, how could you !!:D , I bought one of those ole knives at the rep. show from a guy walking around for 85.00 new in box ! I have to admit, I love it, and it is super fast and tight.
I agree with you, I only saw him 2 times at rep. and he had the proto of that season, but I still think he may have one favorite SOG of all, I would think it would be a light weight, small size knife. Or he just likes all of them the same. I also saw a year or so ago where you carried the night vision, I bought one shortly after and have carried ever since. Thanks Ron for your input.:D
