Spent the day doing some whacking.

So the first thing you need is the right tool. Mine is on the big side so I have a sling that goes over my shoulder to help hold it up. When I was younger I didn’t need this.

Then you need to keep that tool lubed.

After that you need weeds (yes we are whacking weeds)

I have a great hearing protection set up. I wear “ultimate ears” music ear buds and run Beethoven piano concertos through them and cover that set up with a good muff set. The muffs can make you ears kind of warm... make your ears sweat... and they are heavy but it beats needing hearing aids. With this set up pretty much all I hear is music. Now you guys may say “Dang what if dem Kalifornia liberals come to take your gun! You wouldn’t be able to hear dem” Well most liberals are women and I found that if you tell them you had your gun fixed so it just shoots blanks they’re more willing to love it. I doesn't need to really shoot blanks... they just have to be dumb enough to believe it does

The whacker lost the fight to some really stiff bamboo so I had to have my mistress do one of her jobs on it. The whole thing didn’t last more than a few strokes.

On the way home I got some refreshments

Looks like a good way to spend an afternoon:thumbup: The scotch really looks like a good way to spend an evening!

Is it cleaned up enough for us to come stay???

I don't have a weed wacker, But then again the Bush in my neck of the woods is pretty well trimmed! I like a well groomed bush, in fact darn near trimmed down to the nubbins. I find the land scape is much more eye appealing when you can really see it. Bushes that are all overgrown take away from that curb appeal.

Haven't seen you for a while but it's good to hear you're still whacking.

Take care T!

That's a fatty there in the last one. How's it handle your wiener?

Hate to say it Tony, but it just may be time for the blue pill.

Nice set up. It's a wonder a guy doesn't throw out his back packing a trimmer around like that, things huge.

Olives and scotch.:barf: Must be one of those Kalifornia thangs.

Thanks for sharing

Nice to have you back, Tony! I think I recognize that glass...got one just like it! ;)

I've bushwacked with sweaty ears myself, and let me tell you, Tony earned that olive treat at the end of the day.

Tony, I'm still kind of young, and my question is: will my bushwhacking tool be so big someday that I eventually need a sling to hold it up?

Also, I notice you used a "burning" lube with "Pure Fire" performance? Was that to keep you awake? Was there any discomfort afterwards?

Actually it is in pretty good shape right now. One of four bedrooms are functional with the kitchen, bath and living room all cleaned up. The rest of the place still looks like you might think of Horton's front lawn.
