There is a newer version available called the SARO Expeditionary Machete.

I was browsing through redsoldier.com yesterday, and spotted this. Possibly not as refined a tool, but seems to have many of the same features and the price is considerably lower. I don't know if this is new info, but I thought it might be something worth mentioning.
