I have a minor spider problem. Spiders like to make their home in the side view mirror housings on my cars. They make webs between the mirror and car door and are annoying to clear.

Any one have this problem? Ideas how to get rid of them?

I use Ortho Home Defense and the sticky traps in my garage and I find dead ones and stuck on ones all the time.

Spider webs in the mirrors? Yes.
Now that I rarely drive my car, I bought a car cover to keep the bird poop off and protect the finish from the sun. (So Cal guy. I use my garage for storage of stuff, instead of cars.)
Anyways, I have noticed that since I started using a car cover I have a lot less problems with spider webs on my side mirrors.

Prior to that, I used to spray Windex into the crevices on the sides of the mirror where it meets the casing to flush the back of it. Windex is good at killing bugs and it is reasonably non-toxic to humans. I found that doing so helped a lot.

Sounds good to me. I'll give it a try.

BTW I like your SR-71 profile pic. I've always liked them.

Thanks. For most of those who worked on that program it was pretty much the high point of their careers.
