Has anyone ever made a spiderman pattern scale set for a spyderco? If not, just an idea ;)

I have seen some counterfeit Spyderco knives on various websites that have had a web-patterned scale. I can't recall if there are any real ones that have been made.

Several years ago Spyderco made a Native that was dedicated to the members of its online forum. The blade had a web-pattern overlay on it.

Spyderco Spin has a web etched onto it. As far as using any Spyderman items, there would be some cost involved as well as legal hoops to jump through as pretty much everything "Spider-Man" related is trademarked.

here in our city there's a been a rash of burglaries of knife and sporting goods stores. robbers seem to prefer spyderco knives. police have few leads beside several tough mono-filament strands found in the scene, believed to be biological in origin.

Before the Native, there was a run of SS Delicas and Enduras that some members of the forum on the Spyderco website got together and ordered through one of our fellow members. I'm not sure what ever happened to her(glasshartt), but I did get an Endura from that run and I still have it. :D  :p

The laser engraving was done by Spyderco as well.

That is awesome!!! definitely a great find shadow 213

Thanks, but actually, I was one of those in the group that got together and ordered these Spyders. I've had this one in the box since 2002, when I got her.....much too nice for EDC. :D

Santa Fe Stoneworks did some Spiderman pattern overlays on SS Spydercos a few years back. IIRC, they were Enduras, but they may have been Police.

I just saw some references and pics on Spyderco's forum about some variations of the Co-Pilot that were released several years ago that had webbing on the scales.

There have been a lot of Spydercos with webbing and either the Spyderco "bug" logo or a more realistic looking spider on them. But, to the best of my knowledge the SFSW overlays I mentioned earlier were the only ones in "Spiderman" colors (red and blue with black webbing).
