Spike Hawk WIP

Started on this Spike Hawk this morning, for a member here. When it`s done it will have oak handles.
The specs are:
about 14" overall
about a 3 1/4" cutting edge
about 6" from edge to tip of spike
1/4" thick O1 steel

Finished it this morning. It has oak handles on it.

I like! What did you use to finish the metal? Are you going to stain the scales or are you going to leave them the blond color?

I used 3m belts on the metal. The handles are left unstained, just used linseed oil on them.
