Hello all, I joined this forum a while back but never have post anything. I thought I would throw one of my hawks out to see what everyone thought. thanks

I like it. Nice and clean lines. Simple but stylish and it looks like a good user. Handle is nice with good figure and the striping stands out pretty well.

Is the handle curly maple? That stain really makes the grain detail pop!

Thanks for comments. This one was made from an old 24 oz ball peen hammer. As well as I can remember (already sold) O.A.L was 9 inches.Blade width was 2 3/8 inches. Haft was 20 inches. The haft was curly maple dyed with med. brown leather dye and several coats of thinned liseed oil and beeswax. SW
