Here's a spiked tomahawk I finished today. It was hand forged out of 7/8" square 1080 yesterday and heat treated last night. The head is 10" with a cutting edge of just under 3". The haft is wraped with dyed buckskin and has 70 brass pins. Here's a before and after photo.

Raymond,

That is a VERY NICE Tomahawk!!!...Damn!!! I want it!!!...BTW, by 50th birthday is coming up near the end of this month, and that Tomahawk would SURE make a nice 1/2 century birthday gift to me.:D.:D.

The address to send this gift 'Hawk to me is:

Dann Fassnacht
708 North L Street Apt. 2
Aberdeen, WA 98520

.:D.:D.

(And yes...That IS my real address!).

Don, Actually its headed to Washington but unfortunatly to Blade Gallery to replace one that the postal service had lost a few months back. I'll be doing the NWKC Show in October and I hope to have a few hawks made up for that. Happy Birthday but you'll have to talk to your wife about a hawk.......

I would, but I don't think she'd be any good at forging a 'Hawk, as she's just not that handy with a hammer and fire.:D.:D.
