I have been to the mall a dozen times wanting a chance to try the new xbox they have on display. Every time I go, there are 20 kids in line as well.:) Sooooo spill it!! Who bought one and how is it?? I have been wanting to get a PS2 for a couple of months but wanted to wait for the XBOX to debut to make my final choice. Also, does anyone know if they make rouge spear for anything but PC ?
 
OK, weak willed that I am, I ordered one online last night, should see it next week.

A friend of mine has Rogue Spear for Playstation (1) and it sucks, at least compared to the computer version. Fewer weapons choices, poorly designed adaptation to the different system, and I could never get the hang of the controls, but that's just my opinion, and I was never big on video game systems, I always go for the computer games instead.
 
Computer games definitely have their advantages. My wife wanted a console system so we could play together. She lives driving games alot.

For first person shooters, I will go computer all the time. On a TV screen it gives me a serious headache.

That said, I love have friends over and playing Gauntlet: Dark Legacy on the PS2 with all four. It's chaos, but alot of fun! ;) :D
 
I know what you mean about the PC and Rogue spear. I have been playing for over a year now on the PC and probly will be spoiled to much to try PS1. Its sweet with all the down loaded maps and weapons you can get online. I also agree to a point about PC being way better then the console games. The XboX on the other hand changes my thinking. It has the speed an graphics that you will find on any PC game.
