I recently picked up this axe at a garage sale, cleaned it up a bit and could then see the markings on the side. It says Spiller, Oakland. It also says 3 1/2, which I assume to be the weight. All I know is that it was made by spiller, in Oakland Maine, about 50 minutes from where I live, which I thought was neat.
If anyone who knows anything about it would tell me about it, I would appreciate it. I know very little about it. If any further images are needed I will supply them. Thank you!
