Real quick: I can't decide which one to get to attach to my motorcycle keys. The Spyderco Spin or Lava. Want to see what you bladeheads liked better. Give me your opinion regardless if you've handled these knives or not, thanks!

Spin because it will carry better. Its also a great knife for its small size.

I have a lava that I carry and use at work everyday. Its a great knife and feels really good in the hand. With that being said, I would go with the spin if you will be attaching it to your motorcycle keys. The lava would be a little to big and heavy for that. Hope this helps.

Yep, I have both and unless you like changing out the ignition lock on your motorcycle, I'd go with the Spin. The Lava is easier to use, but it weighs about four times as much.

The Spin is no novelty knife, its a great user as the Lava is too. The Spin is so light, and compact it would fit and carry great.

Right on dudes, you guys are great! I am once again reminded why this forum is so cool. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and So-Lo & logican for the awesome photos!

So far I'm leaning towards the Spin for the reasons you guys stated. For having the same blade length as the Lava but a much smaller size I think it is the smarter choice. However, the Chad Los Banos design is pretty sexy.

I'll leave ya dudes with a pic of my bike that the knife will be accompanying. Thanks again, long live BladeForums!

Okay here it is. By the way I ordered the Spin. Even though I like the design of the Lava better, the spin will be more practical hanging from my moto key.
