Spine/tang rounding?

Recently bought a B35 and B41 to go with my Kur, Bestman and Thrill. Really like the Lion Steel designs, details and finish. I am also a huge fan of CNC contouring . Something I am very curious about is how Lion Steel shape and finish their radiused spines and tang edges so perfectly? I am hoping that someone can share an answer without it being an intellectually secret process. Even knowing whether it is done on a CNC with custom tooling, or by hand by an army of Italian craftsmen with sand paper, would help me put my curiosity to rest! :D

I have tried rounding my own spines in the past with not altogether satisfactory results.

Thanks in advance

Chris
