At The Spirit of Steel Show in Mesquite a very talanted individual will make his debut in the knife making arena,Larry Davidson a die maker engineer by trade is turning his talents in metal working to the art of knife making bringing 20+ years of metal fabrication with him as well as years of CAD experance.
I have purchased one of his folders #3 Special Agent and the fit and finish are exceptional, he also uses Larry Chew's bearing pivot which combined with Davidsons engineering makes for a super smooth action, the handels are Titanum and anodized to the customers color specifications and inlayed with most any materal used by knife makers (Bone-Wood-pearl-Carbon Fiber-Micarta and so on)somthing unique to his folders is the inside of handles are ingraved not jewled but engraved, the clip is also Ti and designed by him and compliments the folder nicely, blade materal is ATS 34 or other popular steels.
All in all for a guy that has made only 5 folders his work is equal to or better than some makers 200th knife but dont take my word for it pick one up at the show open the blade work the action a few times, his work speaks for it's self.
See you at the show
