It's been a long, hard week. For that matter, the previous week was no fun either -- spent most of that one in St. Paul, MN, where the high point of my week was the tornado warning on arrival.

So, after putting in a couple of hours at the office this morning (unpaid, since I'm management), I headed over to the local brick & mortar. There, sitting in the display case, was one plainedge BM 330 (mini-Mel Pardue) at a decent price. I've been meaning to buy one for some time, but keep finding other knives to buy instead. Fit and finish were good, with the blade grinds nice and even, and the edge shaving sharp. Whipped out the credit card and put the knife in my pocket.

I'm still tired, but I feel much better now.
