Spirograph Damascus Sebenza, why are they so hard to find?

Just like the title says, why are they so hard to find or is it just me? Is it harder to produce that pattern? Do people not like them? I know it's a little more expensive but I don't see that many out there on the exchange. Any insight would be appreciated and maybe someone can point me in the right direction to find one, Thanks

well, they are not as common as the raindrop and ladder damascus, and costs a little more to make and therefore buy. I personally love the spirograph pattern and wouldn't mind paying a little extra to order it directly from CRK.

I think it's just down to that pattern being newer and there being less knives with it. I personally don't like it much as it looks rather busy and a bit scrappy for my tastes, but it's good to see people trying out different stuff. I have always though just a plain old tight random pattern Sebenza would be nice. Wheather there are more than enough of the more common patterns like raidrop and ladder going about, I'm not sure. Best just keep making them too. :D

I guess that's why I haven't seen that many at the exchange, it's a new pattern. I ordered a Spirograph blade for my small sebenza 21 (from Heather at CRK) and was quoted a little over $300.00 and a one year wait, WOW 1 year turnaround.

I ordered a damascus blade for a Mnandi at the Blade show. I was told then it would be at least 6 months even though they had the blanks in the shop. I expect I'll get it early next year at some point.
