Spitfire or Slimline

I believe the blades have a little different grind to them and the butt of the handles are different. One is more curved while the other is straighter. Jimping might be a little different as well.
 
I called Buck to ask that very question and was told that they are for all intensive purposes, the same knife.

Perhaps they were implying that the differences are basically cosmetic and that the main aspects of the knives are pretty much the same. Think of it like asking about a 110 and a 110 finger groove or a 110 with a standard clip point blade and one with a drop point blade. While they do look different, for the most part they are the same.
