SOLD PENDING FUNDS TO JEEPIN... thanks for looking
This is a new very low serial number (#90 out of 885 produced) Spivey Sabertooth knife. Here is some info from his website about the knife. More about this knife and the famous story behind it can be read here: http://www.spiveysabertoothknife.com/History/History.htm
It is a very interesting story. Even if you aren't interested in the knife you should read it...
Jefferson Spivey invented the Sabertooth out of need while living off the land on his historic 4000 mile, seven month horseback journey from The Pacific Ocean to The Atlantic in 1968. the Sabertooth proved itself indispensible when, in 1984, he rode from Canada down the Rocky Mountains to Mexico and subsequently, on all his wilderness journeys.
Now anyone can own a piece of this unique American history. The Sabertooth is a hatchet, saw and knife. It is perfectly suited for backwoods survival. Its the best tool for hunters, campers, mountain bikers, backpackers, fossil-digging archaeologists, and the military. the overall length is 12 ¾ inches, blade 7 ½ inches.
The classic double row of biangular teeth on a sloping spine is the most effective saw on a knife ever designed. in tests, the saw cut through a 1 ¾ inch iron pipe and show no damage to the teeth, So cutting bone or wood will be an easy task. Made with steel used for tank armor, you can be sure the Sabertooth is tough. The knives are individually serialized and fitted with high-impact handles and a leather sheath with a security-strap.
It has never been used, but has some small 'handling marks" on the handle... very small scratches.
Included is signed authentification from the maker and signed knife world, as well as 2 knife magazines featuring the Sabertooth knife.
Price is $255 shipped and insured, for US sales or Canada sales. USPS postal money order preferred.
Anyone outside of US or Canada can purchase, just add $50 for increased shipping (USPS Priority mail). You assume all responsibility and risk. I have nothing against International buyers, but the inability to purchase shipping insurance bothers me. If international buyers are OK with the terms, feel free to purchase.
