Any reviews, opinions, feedback on either of these two quince handled Kershaws?
Anybody have one?

Both?

Is the VG-10 of the Nakamura worth the extra$$$ ?

They both look nice, but I couldn't turn up much info from actual owners.
 
I'll let the experts comment on the review part of your post, but did want to add, that both of these knives are discontinued for 2009.
 
The Nakamura, IMHO, is about the best bang for the buck for a dress knife. The bolsters really stand out and the wood looks great. Really does look like a custom. I need to get a least one more now that they are disco'd. If I had the cash I would lay back several.

I haven'y bought a new knife in years and years. I like the blade shape of the Nakamura, and it looks like pure class.
The splinter is available for about $40 less, and looks pretty sweet as well.....
