Alright, I took my William Henry Lancet out for my Birthday and as I was wipin' it down and checkin' it out before slidin' it back into it's leather case and into my pocket, I notice a straight crack in the pearl, more like a break.

It looks like it goes straight through to the titanium liner, my question is can I do something like use crazy glue to make sure it doesn't get worse or do I just need to replace the scales.

If they need to be replaced any idea who's good with pearl, if anyone knows of someone PM me or send me an email.

Finally, I bought this knife when Wm. Henry knives only other option was pearl on this knife, do ya think I should try to contact Wm. Henry Knives and see if the warranty covers it, (it looks like it was in my back pocket and I sat on it).:(

I'm open to any suggestions, I really like this knife and plan on keepin' it a long time.

I would contact William Henry for the repair.
There are very few of us who are good with pearl. If the maker won't repair it, I'm not sure I would want to do it.

My first move would be to contact William Henry. I've never had a problem with mine so I don't know how their service would be. If nothing else, they could tell you how to proceed (glue or replace). If not covered by some sort of warranty, I would think that they would repair it for a fee. They do take pride in their work and I would think they would not want a damaged knife out there. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. Mike

Ditto, for contacting William Henry first. Considering what these knives cost, I'd think (& hope) good customer service comes with that.

Here's a quote from the above website (highlighted for emphasis):
"My William Henry knife needs to be repaired. How long will it take?

Turnaround times generally range from 1 to 6 weeks depending on complexity of repair, required materials, etc. In all cases we try to provide exceptional service and return the knife to premium operating condition."

See what they can do to live up to that promise. ;)

I'll give a call on Monday and see what they say, I'll post their responce and my results later.

Thanks for the reply and Bill I'll get a hold of you, I have an old late 1800s Lobster pattern that is missin' a chip in one of the pearl scale, I'll send ya some pics and you could let me know what ya think.
