Ok so I merely put a cracked handle out of service;)
I work at the rennaissance fair so i get to throw all day.Anyone ever do any off beat/trick throws? so far from 10 feet i got behind the back,underhand,2 ,3 ,4 at a time (not consistantly)
Having fun is the name of the game plus it puts on a show :)

The el cheapo's the company buys in bulk :D
They kind of resemble cold steel hawks but i'm pretty sure its a mild steel eye with a bit welded in.they are old, beat up and still kicking. After 15 years I still cant belive that it's a paying job.:)

I've been going through some of the same problems myself with hitting the handle. Must be doing someithing right. Everyone of the hawks I use to throw with has lots and lots of duct tape holding the handles together.

Sounds great man, I would love to get into it someday and seeing you in action would be some inspiration. Did they have Youtube in the middle ages?

I'll bring "ye old digital camera" :D I'm not sure if i can robin hood another handle but I'll give the other stuff some hell. The behind the back throw really isnt that hard just make sure your target area is WAY clear first, then subtract about 3 feet from your distance to make up for the lack of front swing( your arms length) the rest is just like regular throwing. The same goes for underhand throws.
