Sometimes you see a big chunk of wood just sitting there, then you see your knife and baton, the rest is history...........

yep that is one great way to make some big wood into smaller pieces. Taking a little piece off the sides at a time.
It is like carving down and around the log. In no time you a nice pile off split wood, ready for the fire lol.

however just for fun every now and then I get out the blades and give them a work out too lol
