Spoiled myself with gear today!

I went off the handle today and bought myself some gifts. With all the money I've been forking over to other people for rent, electricity, gasoline, propane, etc. it was long overdue. So here's what I got:

and my wife bought me one of these:

in carbone, of course.

I think it's a pretty good haul for a day's spending and I managed to keep it under $200. Now I just have to contain myself until everything arrives!

I did. Marion David Poff gave me a couple other good places to get kydex but knifekits gives you the grommets and pre-made belt loop so I went with them.

I definitely will. I'm just planning on sheaths for doodads and I'm not sure that I'm going to try a knife. I might give making one for the 760 a try but I think I may just stick to sheaths for a bic lighter, ferro rod, camp axe, etc.

I hear ya. Nice assortment of new gear. Despite my vow to have a much tighter personal outdoor gear budget this year, I broke down and bought a few things for myself also. Picked up a few speed strips for the .357, a small belt pouch from Bestglide, and a sling and swivel for my Savage 24V.

Great stuff. I really like orange.
