Wow. Can't take the heat, get out of the damn kitchen.

There are warning stickies about W&C not being for the feeble, but you apparently chose to ignore them. Can't blame anyone but yourself.

Here, sir, is your dunce cap. Maybe you should try running head first into a brick wall, might jump start them thought processes. If not, I'll be watching, eating popcorn, and laughing.

Just click the ignore button. Why do you care so much about what some people on the internet think? Most people that have been here for any amount of time know about the quality of discussions/people in W&C. That's why it exists, specifically to keep that stuff away from meaningful conversation. Let it do it's job and ignore it.
 
What do you expect to gain from this thread? It seems you been on a mission the last couple weeks without any viable end state. There are lots of people on the net you're not going to like so it's best to just ignore them.
 
If you are embarrassed, maybe think of changing your behavior instead of becoming angry at those who expose it.
There are members who rose to beloved and respected status despite a lowly beginning spouting off nonsense.
 
I think you are putting way too much energy into something on the internet. Your thread was likely locked because you went way off the rails. Way off. Another moderator gave you a heads up to do some introspection and it seemed you were going to at the time. I really thought yesterday that this was going to end with two adults acting like adults. Just hit the ignore button.

brandoak brandoak , you are saying things like "behind your back", "undisclosed to me", "without my knowledge", "without my being able to defend the one sided ridicule" etc.. about this W&C thread that was posted 2 years ago. Bro, you posted in that thread 8 times. Hard to tell if that was defending yourself, fighting back, or just rambling but you knew about it and participated in it at the time. To be fair, you joined in a few days after it started but still.

For me, it'd be hard to accept an apology after you post a apology/whine thread that skews what actually happened to make you look like a innocent victim being tarnished without your knowledge.
 
What I don't understand is he agreed to close his thread on me and did it of his own free will. After which I changed the title of the two year old thread and requested it be closed as a sign of good faith. I thought this was done. Then I wake up to this. I had no problem with him coming after me. I had a problem with him going after my family and stalking me on every part of the internet to try and find something on me. Hell, even if he wanted to scour every corner of the internet to find every piece of dirt I personally have exposed about myself is fair game. I'm the person who put it out there in the first place and it doesn't bother me at all. It was the defamation through flat out lies that got under my skin.

Am I abrasive at times? sure am. Do I call people out when I know they are wrong? yes. But it isn't about ego. I believe if you have knowledge and can help others you should do so. I try to do that. Some accept it and are appreciative. Others simply see me as a windbag high on his own breath. I really don't care which side of that coin people fall on. And if you take issue with things I say I have no problem debating it until we either find common ground via mutual respect or if it has to end with agreeing to disagree. But I will not resort to taking shots at peoples families, lying about them and when I say its done its done. I tried to apologize to Brandoak. I agreed to put it to bed. And I meant it. So if he wants to continue this its his choice. I'm going to honor my agreement. Even if he wont.

Nothing to do with the said threads and the people participating, but I just fail to see the reasoning of even having the w&c subforum on a reputable site like bladeforums.com.
