*SPOILERS* Who produced the knife featured on last night's "Better Call Saul"?

They also make (or at one point made, I haven't checked their 2015 lineup) a thumb disk version, if the thumb studs in those pics are what's throwing you.

The thumb disk version is called the 'Large'.. already on backorder.

Not to get too far off topic, and perhaps I missed it, but how do they justify Mike and Tuco coming back from the dead?

Oh, and talk about a spoiler alert, I heard from a source with serious bonafides that Jesse will be making a comeback, along with a few others from the past...I'll let that one simmer for a bit.;)

This is the perfect place to ask this...

You ever notice in movies, drug dealers are always snorting something off the tip of their knife? What's everyone's cocaine EDC? No just kidding, but seriously anyone notice that? Where did that come from?

Time does not always only move forward in T.V. land. I belive this show will have stuff that predates, is current to, and post dates breaking bad. This was exemplified in the first episode.

The real question here is did they use an anachronistic knife? :D That scene takes place in 2002. Not sure when the Espada was first released, but methinks way later than that.

I gather this is a TV program. No idea what program it is. Something usually has to make me interested enough to watch something on TV other than news and weather.

It looks like the thumb disk version could also work like the Emerson wave?

If any of the other thumb disk Cold Steels I have are any indication, absolutely! I don't care for waving, myself, but it's cool to have the option.

That is a very good point! Continuity Editor fail!

From what i understand the whole sniffing powdered substances from the end of a blade actually started in films. If i remember correctly the purpose was to give the character a grandiose behavior and therefore an edgier appearance. I dont think it has a single root planted in reality. Though i would not doubt that some dealing in such substances have probably since adopted the behavior. Still its a sign of a complete moron. Most in that line of work dont use the product they sell and the ones that do are still smart enough to run purity tests before snorting what could very well be anything from powdered milk to rat poison.
