I just attended a Gunting seminar put on by CSSD/SC this weekend and I just thought I would throw this out there for what its worth in case anyone else is thinking about going to one.
It was without a doubt top knotch. Bram & company were absolutely great to learn from. I was alittle hesitant to go to the class having had zero blade training in the past but the techniques that that are teaching is (to put it in Bram's own words) "not rocket science". I don't really think my words are doing it justice, but Im sold. I would gladly pay again and again to train with any one of them.
And as far as the Gunting goes, in the two short days that I was exposed to it, it never stopped amazing me as a versatile tool for self defense. There were people in my class from various MA's that could find uses that blended in with whichever style they had trained in.
Like I said this is just one mans opinion take it for what its worth and I hope this didn't sound over the top but Im still blown away by the whole thing.
And Bram if by chance you read this I just want to say again Thank You again to all of you.
