Remembrance.

That's all we really have to offer.
People all over are doing everything they can to help. Donations, blood banks. Its really amazing.
A number of our wonderful friends and customers have come forward and offered to buy knives and have them donated to servicemen.
Is that Bdass or what?!!

Here's what we have done.
When people buy a donation knife, we apply the retail price paid, to the manufacture of knives that will be donated at cost. In other words, we will match your donation. You pay for the material, we'll supply the labor.
All knives will be supplied to US Servicemen.

Thanks again for all your support

Strider Knives

I wish that I had the means to join the others in donating a knife to a serviceman. However, funds being as they are,I cannot. But I must express my admiration for those who have. That is a worthy gesture for men who guard our way of life.

As I sat and watched relatives of the victims being interviewed on TV, I could not help but feel that perhaps it is my turn to stand a watch. I am finishing college in December (I got my degree a little later in life than the average - I'm 32.) I don't know if I'm to old, but I am considering looking into the Ranger program. I discussed it with my fiancee, and she is behind me 100%. She's quite a lady. I admit that I have not actually researched the topic so I may be too old. I don't know. All I know is that if December rolls around and it seems to me that we are as involved as I think we are going to be, and I'm not over the hill, I intend to enlist. Does anyone have any suggestions or input as to what I need to do to ensure a shot at Ranger school (aside from physical conditioning as I am quite fit.)

To all those who currently serve or have (military, police, etc.) you have my heartfelt thanks.

I would like to sponsor a Strider knife!! I cant make mine fast enough to help in a large way, but maybe this will help get the ball rolling... Let me know where to send a check...

Take Care

While I do not have too much extra cash what I can do, if it is okay with you Mick, is to donate the money I have sent in for deposits for knives I have ordered. You can make my knives this settles down. Then I will pay for my knives in full when you have time to make knives for those of us who do not NEED your tools but love to have them anyway.

I will also send a money order for what little extra I can afford to donate.

If this is acceptable e-mail and let me know where to send my money order.

Semper Fi!
Jim

I can also send my one and only STRIDER, an AD, to you for "reissue". It is after all,as you stated in another post, your knife Mick.

I will buy another later.

E-mail me and we can take it from there.

kampfjeager,

I am having the same feelings you are. I have a wife and kids, but I already told her that if this thing turns into an extended war, I am going. I am 31. I do not know what the age requirements are for anything, but I do know age waivers are available.
My wife said "Is this more important than your family?" "No, it is for my family that I will do it."
They have killed American innocents ON OUR OWN SOIL! This is much bigger than any one man...
Somebody email me about what the cost of a donated knife is coming out to be (I know it wil be a range of prices) and I will see what I can do.

One more thing guys, not really related. The impact of this on our financial markets and economy could be tremendous. You may have heard that Continental Airlines has already announced 12,000 layoffs in response to this act. It is possible this act could trigger a global recession, possibly a depression. We need to show faith in this economy. When the markets open on Monday Janice and I will be putting a little extra money into our stock funds to help prop up the market. I would encourage anyone who has the abilty to do the same, and help boost the overall confidence of the market.

BTTT (Just because I think this notice should stay up there)

Scott, thanks for your words of encouragement. This conflict is no longer an abstract evil, but rather one that we can now put a face to - almost 5000 faces. I personally have definitely lost one friend at the WTC, and two others are still unaccounted for. I feel frustrated and helpless sitting here doing nothing. Our families and friends have been targeted and something has to be done.

Hey Sir,

Excellent idea. If you would be so kind as to give me a call (you have all the numbers) maybe between us we can work out something more agressive in the numbers department. I would have loved to have STRIDER's available to me in Central/South America but hey that was a different time. I have extended the use of my tools to those who will go into harms way and currently have product on order with me. If I have forgotten anyone please contact me!

Also, personal thanks to MICK, PANZER and Rennie for their concern about my wife's return..she means everything to me and I was deeply worried about her ability to get back to Texas. Things are better now...thanks guys.
PANZER...call on your delivery and let me know what's up.

All my Best,
Joe

Hey there Joe E,
Glad to hear that she got home okay. Thats some good news during this awful time. No worries on the order, I'm sure USPS is doing their best. I will let you know when all the stuff comes in. Oh and sincere thanks for the kind words Joe, means alot to me to have friends of such high caliber.(a little pun intended) will also be emailing you with that order for TAC gear, soon as i get a few things together, some of the boys need some new toys also, so i'm trying to coordinate and concentrate the order. again glad all is well,
