What started out as a trip to the grocery store for stamps and a gallon of milk, ended up in the woods. And im dead serious about that. We thought "what can we do since we are out already?" The answer was a 3 miles stroll through our local parkway. We stayed pretty much on the beaten path since we werent dressed for a good hike, even though the parkway has some decent trails. Here are the pics i took from today

Yeh my wife HATES when I stop to take a pic of a knife. She always like "Jesus christ you don't take that many pictures of me"....

Ask her to hold the knife.

Awesome hike, bro. I love the old empty buildings. We have tons of them here, that you can just stroll up and check out, some of the most famous ones, are the old homestead homes in Cades Cove. There are a few more scattered out in Smokies, and they are rare gems when you find them.

Plus cars, we have old cars here too. Loggin' shuttles, that ferried supplies to the loggers.

All in all, cool stuff, and thanks for taking us along for the trip.

Oh, they kid has your hair too. :D

My girlfriend and I came to an agreement that I wont complain about all her shoes as long and she doesnt complain about all my knives. So it usually goes like this-

Girlfriend - "Do you really need another knife?"
Me - "SHOES...."
Girlfriend - "........."

:D

I'm pretty sure if you pulled out a big Becker in Central Park, they'd shoot first and not bother to ask questions.

Last time I was in Central Park, if you pulled out a nail file, cops on horses where there in force. Funny to see a guy in knee high leather boots, toting an M4, riding a horse, tell you place the weapon on the ground, lace your hands over you head, and step back.

Good times, good times. I just had my mani done too. The nice lady missed a sharp corner on my ring finger. What's a guy to do? Didn't want to snag my nylons.

Ah, good ol' NYC.
