Spontoon?

My afther was a big collector of all things Native American. This was one of the items i unearther after he passed. Did a lil research and came up with spontoon but even that didnt seem definitive. Would like to learn more about it such as era, who made it, who used it ect?

I use www.photobucket.com . Download your pictures to the account and they give you a URL for each picture.

Thanks for posting Rich. Benyamin... Managed to post pics to photobucket. Have no idea what a CTRL-c or CTRL-V is and brain imploded after that:) This Hawk/Spontoon is 11" long and 3" at its widest. It was at the bottum of an old wooden crate filled with old wiskey bottles dad bought at an Portland Oregon antique store for five bucks.
